Sending our most sincere sympathies for your loss. Woody gave me Joyce my nickname "Inky" as I was born during World War II in a blackout. He was alot of fun!

To All of Woody's Family and Friends:
I was so upset to hear of Woody's passing. He was such a good friend to me and to so many of you. He always greeted us with a smile....a kind word, and of course a joke that brightened your day.
On a personal note, Woody was so helpful to me following the weather for Caroga Lake and northern Fulton County. He was always there to call....or he would call me. He made me better at my job. There were so many days at work that were very stressful and busy, and when I talked to Woody, not only did he tell me the weather, but also made my day. I looked forward to hearing from him or having him stop for a visit.
There are people in our lives that we meet that we will never forget. Woody is one of those special people. I am a better person for having him as my friend.....I will miss you Woody, but I WILL NEVER forget you !
All My Best,
Steve Caporizzo

To the Walter family:
At this time, I would like to extend my condolences to you all in the loss of your dad. I knew him when he worked at the Fulton County Infirmary many years ago, in the laundry department.
May God be with you all at this time and always.

Dear Walter Family,
My family and I became friends with Woody during the time that we owned the Unger House Resturant.
Woody was a frequent visitor and we enjoyed his company very much.
His friendship is one of the fond memories we have of our time spent in Caroga Lake.May God be with him and your family.
