Obituary of Eileen Lincoln

Eileen Abeling Lincoln, 77, of Ruth St., Amsterdam, passed away Monday evening February 20, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy following a brief illness. Born in Amsterdam, New York on October 20, 1928, she was a daughter of John and Edna Vanvliet Abeling. Mrs. Lincoln worked for a time at the former Bigelow Sanford Carpet Mills in Amsterdam. She also worked for the Sylvia Greco Realty as a Licensed Realtor for many years. She enjoyed travel, the ocean and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Huebner Richard of Simsbury, Connecticut, Laurie Lincoln of Sand Lake, New York and Robin Pasquale Alfred of San Rafael, California; two brothers, Edwin Abeling of Woodbridge, Connecticut and Francis Abeling of The Villages, Florida; one sister, Ruth Blatchford of Amsterdam and two grandsons, Michael Huebner Tina of Dover, Delaware and Matthew Huebner of Simsbury, Connecticut. Mrs. Lincoln was pre-deceased by two brothers, Albert ?Wes? Abeling and Donald Abeling. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, with the Rev. Robert W. Smith presiding. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday prior to the service from 9-11:00AM at the funeral home.
