Obituary of Mildred S. Sutter

Mildred Sutter, 93, formerly of 20 McClellan Avenue, Amsterdam, New York, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 1, 2006 at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility after a long illness. Born in Amsterdam, New York November 10, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Laura Paris Sterns. Mildred was employed by Mohasco Industries for 42 years in the accounts payable department, retiring in 1977. In November of 1931 she married Harold A. Sutter, who died on September 9, 1968. Mrs. Sutter is survived by two sons, Harold A. Sutter, Jr. of Los Angeles, California and Kurt R. Sutter of Amsterdam; two grandchildren, David Sutter and his wife Linda of Broadalbin and Laura B. Greene and her husband Edward of Clifton Park and four great-grandchildren. There will be no funeral service or calling hours for Mildred. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, New York.
