Obituary of Helen Harrison

Helen Harrison, 56, of Carlisle Road, Canajoharie, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in New York City on September 15, 1949 a daughter of William and Nelly Harrison. She lived in New York until coming to Canajoharie in 1991. She was a member of the Liberty Day Treatment Program in Fort Plain. Helen enjoyed traveling, camping and the outdoors. She also had a love for birds. She is survived by her father, William Harrison and her brother, Derrick William Harrison of New York City. Also surviving are her housemates, Lori, Harriett, Rose, Rene, Angelo, Ellen F., Ellen G., Julia, Connie, Stephen and Judy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie with the Rev. Lisa Vander Wal presiding. Interment will take place int Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam. The familiy will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
