Obituary of Vivian M. Loske

Mrs. Vivian M. Kingsbury Loske, age 81, formerly of Gloversville, died Sunday evening, March 12, 2006 in Gloversville, NY; with her family at her side. Her death followed a short illness. She was born on May 29, 1924 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mylady Lev Semprevio. Vivian was a 1942 graduate of Gloversville High School. She owned and operated Kingsbury Jewelers in Gloversville from 1944 until her retirement in 1987. Following her retirement she resided in Vero Beach, Florida from 1993 until 2006. Vivian was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Lions Club Auxiliary, the Business and Professional Women, and attended the Eccentric Club with her late husband, all in Gloversville. Survivors include three children, Jan A. Kingsbury and his wife Joanne of Greenville, SC; E. Hope Robbins and her husband Robert of Gloversville, and Dorry Silvey and her husband Joseph of Sag Harbor, LI; six gandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Vivian was married to Stanley A. Kingsbury on October 11, 1942 who died on February 8, 1979. She later married Kirkwood A. Loske on March 27, 1980 who died August 27, 1987. She was also precdeded in death by her son, Mark S. Kingsbury on January 1, 1978, and by her sisters Corrine Holloway and Arlene Goodemote. There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held on April 8, 2006 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Gloversville. Urn burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
