looking back years when bob and my father coached our soccer team, from the time we first picked up on the sport, to the time we played high school level, josh was, is a great kid, strong hearted, and never to be forgotten. someone who always knew what was right, as well as how to have a good time. truely someone who made an impact on everyone, even those who didn't know him that well... my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

JoAnn, Robert, Bruce, MerryLou and family,
I first off want to say how sorry I am to hear about Josh. I went to high school and FMCC with Josh. At FM I would have breakfast between classes with him, Ryan, and Casey and there was never a dull moment! Nothing about Josh was dull, what a wonderful person he was always making you smile! I know I wasn't as close to him as a lot of other people but I know that I was sure lucky to have known such a great guy. Josh will be missed by all and never forgotten.

Bob and JoAnn:
Please accept my sincerest condolences for Josh. My grandson knew him and went to the funeral home. I have had a similar situation in my family - a brother when he was 19 was killed in an automobile acident. Therefore my poor mother and dad were heartbroken as you are. If there's anything I can do to help you, please let me know. It will be my privilege. Again, I'm so sad for your whole family.

They will truly miss seeing him every afternoon and the drawings that he made for all of them. He was a very talented artist! ?A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam. And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belongs to the world. But then it flies once
again, and though we wish it could have stayed,we feel so lucky to have seen it.?
?As you release these butterflies in honor of me,know that I?m with you and will always be. Hold a hand, say a prayer?Close your eyes and see me there.
Although this my feel like it is time to part,Please know that I?ll be forever?..in your heart

I babysat Josh when he was 2years old for several years. My son, Greg Kastraveckas, called and told me of this horrible news. I cannot put into words how sad I am about Josh's death. I remember him eating a berry off one of our bushes and having to call poison control to make sure it wasn't a poison berry! I also remember him hiding in our basement and I was freaking out while trying to find him! He and Greg shared many many long hours togoether playing with Legos, trucks, and digging in the sandbox. While my memories are of Josh when he was quite young, I know my son shared many more memories with Josh. Joanne and Robert, I am so sorry for your loss. God bless.

My memories of Josh will always be that he was an amazing artist, and was very very funny. Not to mention at Prom, Morp and any chance he got he was amazing at dancing exactly like Michael Jackson. Dear Davis Family
I graduated with Josh in the class of 2003.I've known Josh since Middle School when we were the members of the modified soccer team in 7th grade. I had several classes with him in highschool and we were both members of the track team all the way through varsity. We also took several classes and graduated from FMCC together. He was in one of my teaching classes there and he would always let me use him to demonstrate in my lesson plans. I also work at the Gloversville Wal Mart and I would always see him come through my department during the summers. He would always go out of his way to say hi and to make me laugh. He made the classes I took with him and the sports I did with him more fun and he was a great person to be around. I am truly sorry not to be able to come home for Josh's services for I am away at college so I took my favorite picture of Josh, which is him with a suprised look on his face that I took at our prom and I put it above the cross I keep next to my bed. That picture will always bring a smile to my face. I am sorry for your family's loss. May god bless him and he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
