Obituary of Nathan Josephowich
Nathan Josephowich, 79, of Hickory Hill Rd., Fonda, died Thursday at home.
Born in New York City on June 15, 1926 the son of Morris and Hannah Sapoli Josephowich. He was a participant of Liberty Enterprises of Amsterdam and lived at the Hickory Hill Liberty Home in the loving care of his housemates and caregivers.
Nathan also had Sherry and Earl Jerome as friends and advocates. He will be missed by his housemates Curtis, Edward, Allan, Quito, Albert, Robert and Winston. Nathan loved being around people socializing with friends. He loved to tease others and he made them laugh. Nathan had a strong connection to all who knew him and he never forgot a name. He loved playing games, especially marbles, and he loved diamonds and other things that glittered. Nathan was a caring, loving individual who will be missed by all. He was of the Jewish Faith.
He is survived by one sister- Marion Jostlin of Santa Ana, California and his nephew George Jostlin. Nathan was predeceased by 2 sisters, Elizabeth and Shirley Josephowich.
Interment will take place in Temple of Israel Cemetery, Cranesville, NY., where a funeral service will be held on Sunday at 11:00am. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St. Fultonville, NY
