When Ma past away I was there. I stay with Dad for many nights holding his hand laying my head down next to him to let him know that i was there for him and the family. I cry so many tears, and felt the pain that everyone went through. It's hard loosing someone that you love so much that you have known all your life and then one day they are gone. But now all we have is memories and pictures of them. Something that no one can take away from us. It takes time to heal the heart when your parents pass away. Ma and Dad love all of us in there own way. A away that can not be taken. I love all of you guys. I'm hear if you need anything. You have my number's call any time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Freda and Marv's passing. Marvin was a good friend to my dad, Albert "Snook" Cromling. He was a great guy and my dad had fond memories of their days at Fonda Speedway. Your mother was a dear person also. I lost my dad two years ago on 3/28, I can't imagine losing both parents so close together. Please know that Freda and Marvin and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. Georgia

I finished dinner tonight and sat down to read the paper. I was shocked to see Marv's obituary! I knew about his latest "setback" and was sorry that I had not had a chance to visit him after reconnecting with him at Freda's funeral. Knowing it was close, I had hoped to receive a phone call when he passed so that I could bring a small piece of Al's artwork for Marv to carry home to share with Freda. I can only, now, express my condolences to all of you for losing both Freda and Marv so closely. I am thankful that Al is already gone - I don't kow how he would have handled this, knowing how much he loved them both. My prayers are with you all, and with them.

I knew Marvin since our teen years when he first moved to Amsterdam. He became a neighbor and friend. We doubled dated on accasion before I left for service. We had our times of fun and laughter. I am sure he will be surely missed by many. In Philippians 1:3, as Paul was leaving Phillipi he said "I thank my God for every rememberance of you", its something for the family to think about...we all have our memories. Bart Thomas
