I need people to know what my mom meant to me. The World!!! As a child she gave me unconditional love always, even when I was that sassy little kid. She would discipline me then apologize after. We didn't have a lot of material things growing up but I never knew it. We had everything we needed because mom and dad gave us so much love and care so I felt like we had it all. Mom made me a beautiful dress out of material she had for my 5th grade graduation ceremony. I loved that dress. I thought it was the best dress there. Mom always went without so we could have ,right to her last day. She even made sure the neighborhood kids were fed and had a home to come to and feel like one of her kids. I was always proud of my mom and dad being married forever. They weren't afraid to show how much they loved each other. Mom was kind to everyone even strangers she didn't know. As I grew older I grew to respect her and realize what a great mom I have and tried to be ever so kind to her and never take her for granted. her and her sister lost their mother at a very young age and she took over and did her best to fill in for her mom for aunt Joan. Maybe that's what made her such a great mom and tough lady. We were best friends as well as mom and daughter. We did a lot together especially antique shopping,camping,picnics and going to garage sales. We tried to make humor out of the good times and especially the bad times. I'm trying to do that at this very hard time in my life but she's not here to help me but my family and friends are here. And I think of the fun times we had and it over shadows the now. Plus all of our family sticking together and helping each other out. I'm sure she's smiling down on us as we try to cope with her loss together. I'll always love you mom and miss you so deeply. YOU ARE the angel in disguise :two_hearts::innocent:

I have known Alice for over 50 years, I had the good fortune to meet her when Fred and my dad worked together when I was a kid, I am fortunate to have met her niece Mary and our families have become very close. My condolences to your family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
