Obituary of Mary Mazzariello Palladino

Mrs. Mary J. Mazzariello Palladino, age 88, died Sunday morning, April 9, 2006 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. She was born November 20, 1917 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Mazzariello. A lifelong Gloversville resident, Mary worked in the factory at the former Knox Gelatin Company for many years. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church. She was married to Vincent Palladino on January 31, 1948, and he died on April 8, 1987. Survivors include her daughter, Lucy M. Russo Nunzio of Gloversville; a brother, Vincent Mazzariello Ann of Gloversville; two grandsons, Bryan Dennie and Russell V. Dennie; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Mazzariello and her sister, Asunda Brown. Mary?s family would like to specially thank everyone at the Nathan Littauer Hospital ICU for their wonderful care and concern. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Monday today at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a prayer service will be conducted 9:15 am Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
