Dear Kleabonas Family;
I am sorry to hear of your loss,
It was a priviledge to know "Val" when he was Supt. of Buildings and Grounds at Gloversville Enlarged School District and I was with the Gloversville Fire Department.
Since I was involved with all building and municipal fire alarm systems in the City of Gloversville, I would work with Val on may occaisions.
Val was a professional - all the way. No nonsense and he knew what and how to do it right.
We also had many conversations and it was indeed a pleasure to know him.
You have my deepest sympathy at this time.
Wayne D. Schermerhorn
GFD - Battalion Chief - Signal Supt.
Retired.

To: Aunt Louise, Stephanie, Claudia, and Matt,
My memories of Uncle Tino are of when your family and Grandma lived on Swan St. We would always find him in his shop working on a woodworking project. He would often have a cup of coffee in his hand and come out and sit with us on the porch. As my father's memory pops in and out of my daily life , you will also smile during the upcoming days when you remember your father's wise words.
Love to you all, Peggy

Dear Kleabonas Family:
My condolences to you upon Uncle Tino's passing. I will always have fond memories of meeting him in 1981 when he showed my brothers and I how to dig up potatoes in his garden and fish in the creek. We had a fun visit and I remember he made us laugh. I am grateful for his service to our country. God bless you Uncle Tino.
Love, Dave, Kristi and Dylan Jund

Papa,
I will always remember our wonderful times together: watching "Benny Hill," working on projects down at the barn, planting vegetables, feeding the geese and avoiding your dog Midas. And don't worry, the rest of the family won't let me forget the time I left my boots behind in the mud when I ran through the garden and how I mistook a tulip bulb for an onion bulb--that tulip bloomed beautifully for many years on the hill... And I'll never forget how you were going to drive the tractor down to school to bring my forgotten lunch, if Gram didn't come home with the car when she did. You will be greatly missed and always loved.
Love,
Kelly

Dear Aunt Louise, Stephanie, Claudia and Matt,
I have great memories of your Dad when we would come from Dalton to visit. He would give me little wood cut-out scraps from his shop that I would take home and color with my crayons. He is free of pain now and at peace.
Please be comforted in your grief, knowing that we are thinking of you and praying for you.
Love,
Susie, John, Alex and Kate Molina

My sincere condolences to the family on your loss. I worked for Mr. Kleabonas at the Gloversville School District thirty years ago and knew the family well. Stephanie Kleabonas Schecter is Godmother to my daughter and was one of my late wife's best friends. Let your many good memories of life with your husband, dad and grandfather help you through this difficult time of mourning. And know that the prayers and good wishes of your many friends and acquaintences are with you.
