Obituary of William F. Weaver

Mr. William F. Weaver, 70 of Gloversville, died April 24, 2006. Mr. Weaver was born in Northville on October 16, 1935, son of the late Nelson G. and Burlah M. Murphy Weaver. He was educated in Northville schools and an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a Gloversville Fire Fighter for twenty-five years, retiring in 1989. Mr. Weaver had been building inspector for a number of area towns including; Broadalbin, Mayfield, Johnstown, Oppenheim & Ephratah. He was a member of the Mayfield Servicemens Club, Johnstown Moose Lodge and a charter member of the Mayfield Lions Club. He is survived by his wife Diane Richardson Weaver of Gloversville whom he married January 22, 1977. A daughter; Maria Fibiger of Syracuse, a son William Weaver of Glens Falls, a step-son, Mark Reed of Texas and a granddaughter Katie Weaver. He is also survived by an uncle, Willard ?Zeke? Weaver of Northville, and an Aunt Vivian Gifford of Johnstown as well as cousins. He was pre-deceased by a sister Joann Weaver. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
