Obituary of Charlotte V. Loadwick

Mrs. Charlotte V. Loadwick, 93, of Nelliston, NY died peacefully on November 13, 2016 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY. She was born July 14, 1923 in Freysbush, the daughter of the late William and Leola Ward Borchert. A lifelong area resident, Charlotte was a graduate of Fort Plain High School and later went on to work in the Luxuary in Fort Plain. In 1979 she opened Charlotte's Sewing and worked there as a seamstress until Friday, November 4, 2016. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Sr., and her son, Paul Loadwick Jr.; and her siblings Claude Borchert, Linnie Moyer, Luella Moyer and Ward Borchert. Survivors include her two sons, Gary Loadwick and his wife Cheryl of Canajoharie and Vincent Loadwick and his wife Debi of Tampa, FL; one sister, Marie Eckler Fort Plain, NY; 4 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Freysbush Methodist Church, 620 Freysbush Road, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
