Obituary of Robert Anthony & Timothy Iran Jennings
Robert Anthony ?Bonze? Jennings, 21, and Timothy Iran ?Doobie? Jennings, 17, both of Union Street, Amsterdam, New York died Wednesday, May 31 as the result of an accidental drowning.
Robert was born February 9, 1985 in Nyack, New York. He was the son of Elizabeth Baez and John Anthony Jennings. Robert attended schools in Kingston and moved to Amsterdam in 2000. He was a Native American. He loved music, which he also wrote and played and enjoyed sports, especially boxing. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. He worked part time for Barney?s Roofing in Amsterdam.
Timothy was born July 31, 1988 in Nyack, New York. He was the son of Elizabeth Baez and John Anthony Jennings. Timothy attended schools in Orange County and moved to Amsterdam in 2003. He was a Native American. He loved sports and was an avid Yankee fan. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Both are survived by their loving family, mother, Elizabeth Baez and step-father, Howard Sterling of Johnstown; father, John Anthony Jennings and step-mother, Jasmine Jennings of Amsterdam; maternal grandmother, Elba Baez of Garniville, New York; paternal grandmother, Olive Osborne and paternal step-grandfather, Robert Osborne of Monroe, New York; brother, Tony Alexander Jennings; three sisters, Crystal Maria Jones and her husband, Tommy Jones of Amsterdam, Amanda Marie Jennings of Johnstown, and Alisha Liz Jennings; two step-sisters, Kayla Miracle Jennings of Yonkers, New York and Julie Jennings of Amsterdam; a niece, Elizabeth Fay Jones, and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A prayer service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Cremation will take place at Vale Crematory in Schenectady. Calling hours will be Saturday from 5 until 8pm and Sunday from 12 to 2pm at the funeral home.
