Obituary of Rose M. Duso

Rose M. Duso, 76, of Terrace Apartments, Barber Street, passed away Thursday at the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital. Born November 21, 1929, in Little Ferry, New Jersey, she was the daughter of John and Rose Habegger Bordigon. She graduated from the Little Ferry High School in New Jersey. Rose lived in Florida for a number of years prior to moving to Fonda in the year 2000. She was a homemaker and a member and president of the Terrace Club in Fonda. Rose loved to oil paint, knit and crochet. She enjoyed reading and baking, especially her Christmas cookies that her family looked forward to every Christmas. Survivors include five sons, Robert Duso, Jr. of Virginia; Richard Duso Nancy of Palm Bay, Florida; Steven Duso Angie of California; William Duso Heidi of Arizona and Timothy Duso Gloria of Nevada; a daughter, Diane Jeffer Chris Leis of Fultonville; 12 grandchildren, Mylissa, Chuck, Andrew, Mykel, Jason, Brandon, Amanda, Justin, Sam, Charlie, Jonathon and Rachel; a brother, John Bordigon Carol of Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Rose was predeceased by a son, Michael Duso who died in 2000. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady.
