Obituary of Rosemary Walters
Rosemary Walters, 55 of Johnstown, died Tuesday at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1951 in Gloversville, daughter of the late James and Lillian James Brockhum.
Rosemary was employed for many years at the former Coleco Industries, both in Amsterdam and Mayfield, until closing. Rosemary was also a member of the Fultonville VFW auxiliary.
She was married to Edward Clarence Walters who died in 1981.
Survivors include her children, Elvin Walters of Johnstown, Patricia Walters of Ft. Plain, Christian Walters and Frank Walters both of Johnstown, and Vivian Webb of Tennessee. She is also survived by six grandchildren and her long time companion, William Smith of Johnstown.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Elvin Brockhum.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 am Friday from the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street with Reverend Sandra Geer officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-6 pm. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery Gloversville.
