I was a childhood friend of Brian's. I lived across the street from you on Temple St. in Gloversville. I was approx. 10 yrs old, and Brian was a year older.
I remember being invited over for dinner to have sausage from a locally butchered pig. Brian informed me that the casing around the sausage was pig intestine. Needless to say, I couldn't finish eating. He was more than willing to take my sausage and eat it.
I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

We are so blessed that we were given the chance to be a part of Brians life. We met Brian when he was 16 yrs old, his warm smile, laughter and gentle ways all played a part in Brian being a role model for our own son. Brian may be gone but in a sense I still have a part of Brian ,my son. Thank you Brian..We miss you so much and never, never will forgetyou. Skip,Sharon & Chad Ofiara

I have known Brian for 24 years and can truly say he was one of the most kind and thoughtful people I have ever known. He was always there with a helping hand for his family and friends. We will all miss him deeply. Just remember that when we grieve, we grieve for ourselves because we know he will not be "visible" or "audible" to us but he is now in a place where he sees and hears all things that we say and do. HIS SPIRIT LIVES ON. He is probably looking down on us from Heaven and wondering why we are all so sad because he is now in a much better place than we are, a place where the deer run rampant and are eating out of his hand and where everyday is a beautiful day. So remember, do not grieve for Brian that his time here was too short, or that our time with him was too short because we will all meet again in this wonderful place where there are no worries or cares, where there is only happiness and sunshine every day. Until we meet again...

To Brian's Family,
I met Brian about thirteen years ago through a mutual friend. We became good friends and spent lots of time riding our motorcycles together. My fondest memories of Brian are the motorcycle ride to Americade and the smile that was always on his face. Over the years I guess we kind of lost touch with each other. Though I hadn't seen Brian in about nine years, I will miss him and the fun we had. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

To the Family,
I will not tell you I understand your pain, but in losing my son Peter I do know the pain of Grief! When you feel each emotion during this time, know it is alright! Feel all your pain, loss is so overwhelming, Tears fall anywhere, anyplace, it is normal forgetting, concentration can be hard, the void reaches deep into your soul, life never will be the same. The grief is what will get you to a place of healing, not now, you will recognize the day it changes. Sharing your pain can be helpful, journaling, saying Brian's name, I know I do not hear Peter's name and it hurts. I wanted to share with you, some of what I experienced,as a Mother and Parent.I hope this is not considered bold, it is my way of letting you know I care. The devastation I went through can not be explained. Please know, you will survive, ! You have memories, know one can take that from you! Grieve in your own way and in your own time!!!
Sincerly,
Donna Fiumara

While our lives only crossed briefly eight short years ago, your son will always be a part of my life that I will never forget. The time we shared together; the time he spent with my boys - none will ever be forgotten. Here today, gone tomorrow - life is too short to agonize over the small stuff. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. The photos and memories I have will be cherished forever. If there is ever anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.
