Hey Little Brother,
You have been on my alot lately. I miss you so much- We all miss you terribly. I never had the chance to tell you just how much you mean to me. Thank you for all the times you were there for me when I was alone with the kids. Thanks for all the fun you and Sherri and Mike and I had together. You were a wild one when you were growing up but you grew up to be a very special person. You and Mike were more like brothers than brother in laws. I wish I could call you up to talk like we used to do. I know they say time heals all wounds but I still have an ache in my heart that I will not ever get to talk to you again or hear any of your wisdom or laugh at your crazy jokes. I am thankful for all the good times our family had together. I love you and miss you Rob. Thank you for everything. All my love your big sis-

It has been almost a year since you left us. There are still unanswered questions in my mind. It was a pleasure going to your kick boxing class because I could see the love in your eyes for what you did and how much your students looked up to you. I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to buy our own gym like we were planning on. The good times will be with me forever. I'll love you always baby brother.

Six years ago I encouraged my mother to try cardio kickboxing with me. She was a little hesitant but after going once she loved it. Rob made the class fun and knew just how to inspire and motivate everyone. Rob was there for my mother through her many fights with cancer. He honored her, inspired her, and helped her to believe that she can beat this. My point is that he was not just any ordinary instructor because of his personality and his friendships within the class. He was a special man who will always hold a special place in our hearts. He has taught us things about life that will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest condolences to everyone in the Gugenberger family, Robert and I as kids were inseperable, every day especially in the summer one of us would be knocking on each other's door,we had a ball either hanging out at home or anywhere building a go-cart which Robert was usually the brains behind the whole thing, but I do remember helping him with reading, we had a lot of good times together,as time went by we went in different ways as childhood friends will, but bumped into each other once in awhile and was always good to see Rob cause it would remind me of simpler times, I just wish I had gotten the chance to go around the corner to remember those good times , you'll be missed by alot of people who cared about you, rest well old friend, Frank and Karen Glover and girls.

We would like to extend our condolences to the family. Mr Gugenberger made such an impact on ours and everyones lives. No matter what was going on in class when we came in he would stop just so our children could use him as their personal punching bag.I was a personal student of MR. Gugenberger, he gave me my black belt.I was there for his 2nd and 3rd degree.I loved Mr. Gugenberger like my father. He taught me to be strong and honest.I will miss him dearly.

To the Gugenberger Family:
The Ruggiero's and The Gugenberger's go back a long way as we grew up together in the West End of Gloversville. It was only the past few years that we became reacquainted with Rob at The Forrester's Club. It was a whole different atmosphere when Rob was around, always looking for ways to improve the club, always looking for someone to listen to his many opinions but most of all volunteering his time so that other people would have a clean, family oriented place to hang out. It is truly a tragedy that he has been taken so young. Please accept our deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.

To the family and close friends of Rob, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. Rob was certainly a treasure to us all. I took cardio kick boxing under him for three years and always looked foward to the class. Not only for the excellent work out I would get but also for the infinate amount of music trivia, Rob's take on a national or local situation, t.v. trivia as well as Chuck Noris trivia, and fashon critiquing. Also, the relentless "picking on" which he nondiscriminately gave all of us! He had a perspective all his own! His love for family and friends was very apparent as was his selflessness. I'm sure he never had any idea what a valuable and important person he was to so many people! To say he will be missed is an understatement!
Very sorrowfully yours,
Susan Dennie
