Obituary of Stella Agnes Raczes

Mrs. Stella Agnes Raczes, 90, passed away at her home on January 16, 2008. Mrs. Raczes was born in Hagedorn's Mills, NY, to the late Stephen and Anna Malick Kondrat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Raczes, and son, Peter J. Raczes, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Allen Parsons of Durham; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Jeanette Raczes of Amsterdam, NY; daughter-in-law, Judy Raczes of Kennesaw, GA; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Stephen Kondrat of Galway, NY. She was employed for many years with the General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY, retiring in 1982. Mrs. Raczes was a member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church in Amsterdam, NY. A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Schenectady, New York, with Father Hogan presiding. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
