Louise - I received your letter today and am so very sorry to hear that Dick has passed away. He was one of the most honest and generous persons I have ever known.

Dick was a fine gentleman who willingly participated in various fund raising events for the American Cancer Society. While he was a County Supervisor he was willing to listen and try to help out his constituents. He will be missed. We were deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of our good friend and patriote-Dick. To remember Dick is to remember his wit, his smile, his intelligence, his love to solve a problemespecially political, his overall knowledge of so many things. His energy to keep going and conquer health problems that most people would have said - forget it. His love of his family and how proud he was of all of you. The great friendship he had with Bob Reidy was one that no one could ever surpass. He will be greatly missed by everyone and we feel so honored to have known and loved him.

Uncle Dick has given me one of the greatest gifts anyone can give. A great love for old movies. He hooked me on Marilyn at a young age and I still love her. There is so much more we shared it would take up pages. I love Both of my GODPARENTS more then words can say!!!!!!!!!!!!
