I figure I knew your mom for about 50 years, since the bowling alley was built in 1958. I'd walk up from our house on Perry St. & bowl with all you guys from G'ville. But what I remember most was the smell of your mom's cooking & how she always had a smile, & would greet me with, " Hi Jack, how's your mom," making me feel a part of the extended Perry Lanes family. She will be sadly missed, & thought of often.

I am so sorry on the passing of your mom and grandmother. She was such a sweet woman. I can remember her crossing the street to get her mail everyday and always waving and having a big smile on her face as I went by. Roy & Regina, you should feel very proud of the way you took care of Mrs. L. there wasn't a time that I would go by that one of you weren't there with her. Just know that now she has been reunited with Mr. L and is now in a better place.

I remember Rose fondly, both while I was growing up and friends with Roy, and later when I worked at Lexington, eating lunch at the bowling alley. I always got a kick out of her. She was a hoot. Her sense of humor and her personal warmth will be missed.
