We Betty and I as well as our daugther and son, all share in prayers for the family, and a celebration salute to My fellow firefighter and Brother in Christ, Robert for a life well done, and welcome home to the Master. Both Richard and Robert Herdman where two men I hope I emulate, as they were Community leaders in service, and positive role models for all that met and knew them. Don

I have no doubt Uncle Bob is now sitting in his police car with his brother just up on Green street watch to see who is rolling throught the stop sign on Second Ave. I remember picking dandelions for some wine. My deepest sympathies. My prayers are with you.

A fond farewell to a fellow serviceman. A thank you is extended to both Mr. and Mrs. Herdman for their service and sacrifice for their county and community. I didn't know Mr. Herdman well, but am always glad to listen to the stories his friends and family share. I thank God for Mr. Herdman and men and women of character, like him.

Mike, Val & families - I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bob and Dad were always so close and shared many happy times, despite their difficult childhood. I loved their stories of mischief! We enjoyed many family times together...including my infamous New Year's Day grace! Even though Uncle Bob and Mike seemed to get a kick out of it, my Mom was MAD. Uncle Bob was an honest man, of the highest integrity and will be missed dearly by all who loved him. It is the hardest thing in life, to watch those you love fade away. He is now restored and happy. You are all in my prayers. With love, Barb

Uncle Bob will be missed by all who knew him. I will always remember the hunting trips fishing trips snowmobile rides and the times we spent in the Mayfield police Dept with each other. I'm sure he is with his brother and they are enjoying each others company once again. Till we meet again may you rest in peace.
