Obituary of Charlene A. Lince

Charlene A. Lince, 57, passed away peacefully Friday, August 28 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 1, 1952 in Gloversville, the daughter of Paul and DorisShuttersLince. She worked as a retail manager for Wal-Mart in Rotterdam for many years. Char liked music, traveling, crocheting, painting and going out to eat but she loved being with her family. That always brought her the most joy. Whether it was at cookouts or a play date with her grandson or riding on her fiancé's motorcycle- she was always happiest spending time with family and friends. Char is survived by her fiancé, Charlie Abraham of Ft. Johnson; two sons: Brian Rowback and Mark Peek Erin both of Gloversville; two grandchildren: Takoda Rowback and Shilah Rowback; three brothers: Paul M. Lince Kathy of Ballston Spa, David Lince of Northville and Rick Lince Cindy of Gloversville; two sisters: Liz Kadle George and Carolyn Kadle Joe both of Gloversville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog and constant companion, Duke. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Lince. Family and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, September 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium in Schenectady.
