Dad I miss you so very much. It has been about a month since you left us and now its starting to seem much too real. Tears fall every day.
I miss how you listened to anything I had to say and just always told me everything would be okay. You were always there for me, more of a father than a father in law. I hope heaven is wonderful place and you are happy for that is the only way I can justify you not being here. We all miss you terribly. I will help Mother as much as I can I promise! You will always be in heart, every day of my life! Shelley

To all the Ryan Family. Words cannot express how sad I was to hear Tinker passed. As a youngster I remember Tinker always having a good time and wanting his family and friends around him. He was the life of every party. I know he is in heaven and things will be changed for the better up their now that he is there. Goodbyes are necessary so we can say hello and what a hello we all will have someday when we are greeted by those we love and who love us. God Bless You All! Marty, Linda, Matthew and Martina Hughes

To Roxann, Michelle, Darren, Stephen, Kathleen, Colleen and your families,
I didn't see the notice in the paper until Saturday or I would have paid my respects in person. Tinker was part of the fabric of this community, as many of the people that I knew growing up were. It is never easy to lose someone like that, but I do know that the pain of your loss will eventually fade, and will be replaced with the good memories you have.

I learned about Tinker's passing in the Gazette yesterday. The obituary indicated that he had a full life and a great family.
I haven't seen him since High School!
My memories will be of the great childhood that we had growing up in Amsterdam...playing baseball and football in the "woods" now the Edison St.Industrial Park...hanging out at "Boss's" Shop on Edson Street...enjoying the activities at the Vrooman Ave School playground and pool.
We were fortunate to grow up in that time and environment.
We will keep Tinker in our prayers.

Mr. Ryan helped shape many childhoods and ultimately adults with his work on the Perth Youth Commission. As a beneficiary, I am thankful not only for his efforts, but in the manner in which he carried them out...doing so with a self effacing character that was unique and memorable. My god bless you and all the members of the Ryan family.

I used to play with Tinker when we were kids & I lived on Taft Place. He came to visit me through the window when I had scarlet fever. We were at SMI together for a while. There was something special about him that I remember through all these years.
I'm sorry for your loss & send my sympathies.

Grandpa was always so happy. No matter where he was or who was around he was ALWAYS the one making everyone laugh. His smile used to light up the room. We will miss him dearly. May his soul rest in peace and watch over all of our family. We love you grandpa Tinker and we will always remember your smiling face. <3

I was very sad to hear of Tinker's passing. I have wonderful and hilarious memories of the times our families shared while my dad was alive. I will always remember his laughter and sarcasm. At least he and dad will be able to hang out again together now.
