Obituary of Miss Rita M. Leszczynski

Miss Rita M. Leszczynski, age 89, of Amsterdam, died 5/15/17 at St. Mary's Hospital Amsterdam NY She was born May 5, 1928 in Amsterdam, and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine (Trybek) Leszczcynski, and predeceased by her brother, Dr. Alfred Leszczynski. During her lifetime Rita was employed as a Secretary for GE, Schenectady NY,where she worked for 45 years. Rita is survived by her sister, Mrs.Sophie Kenna, and a sister in law Evelyn Leszczynski. She is also survived by her nieces Karen (Russell) Brodeur and Katherine Christensen, and her nephews, Daniel Kenna, Bruce Kenna, James Kenna, Edward Kenna, and Mark (Teresa) Leszczynski, John (Mary) Leszczynski and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Ave. Amsterdam NY 12010. With a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am at St. Stanislaus Church with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis Officiating. With burial to follow in the family plot of the the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Rita to the St. Stanislaus Church 50-52 Cornell St. Amsterdam, NY 12010, or a charity of your choice.
