Obituary of Christine Grace DelliVeneri-Cole

Christine Grace DelliVeneri Cole, 56, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 12, 1960 in Amsterdam, she was a daughter of the late Alphonso and Catherine Kaczor DelliVeneri. A lifelong resident of the area, Christine is a Class of 1979 graduate from Mayfield High School. Christine was an avid NY Giants, NY Yankees and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. She loved to garden and especially loved her dog, Charlie. Most all Christine loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend; Christine will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving family, brothers, Edward DelliVeneri of Amsterdam, Michael DelliVeneri (Julie) of Anderson S.C. and Ronald DelliVeneri (Trish) of Mayfield; sister, Mary Jo Ambrosino (Robert) of Gloversville; 9 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; many close and special friends. Christine was predeceased by her nephew, Robert Ambrosino II. A very special thank you to Ron and Betty Cook for the loving care and help to Christine over the year and countless other friends that helped as well throughout the years. A memorial service for Christine will be held on Thursday May 25, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, 12078. Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held prior to the service on Thursday starting at 12:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at Union Rural Cemetery, Mayfield, at the convenience of the family.
