Obituary of Miguel Caraballo

Miguel Caraballo, 62, of Amsterdam, NY, has gone to his eternal rest on Thursday May 18th, 2017. Born on May 22, 1954 in Yauco Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Carmen Julia Oliveras and Jose Antonio Caraballo. Miguel was a talented electrician and carpenter. Miguel enjoyed gardening particularly vegetables. He loved to work on cars and loved the adrenaline of high speeds. He was an avid Nascar fan. He was very fond of birds and enjoyed fishing. Miguel had a fun personality. He was a jokester who loved to laugh and pull pranks. He was a really happy, outgoing, and sociable person who never hesitated to help those in need. Miguel is survived by his longtime partner Yizza Perez; his daughter Clariluz Caraballo; his sons Miguel Caraballo and Miguel Angel Caraballo; his daughter in law Iris Caraballo; his grandchildren, Dariel Payano, Yariel Payano, Jose Anthony Montolio, Starlynne Caraballo, Skyelynne Caraballo, and Erick Caraballo; his sisters, Yiyi, Tata, Clari, Damaris, and Nani; his brothers, Chepo, Willy, Papo, Frankie, Reggie, Macho, Tito, and Boro; and his Yorkie companion Blondy. Miguel is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Maria and Olga; and his brothers, Luis and Jonathan. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 26th, 2017 at 11am at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9am - 11am prior to the service.
