Obituary of David Brooker

David L. Brooker age 65yrs of Gloversville passed May 22, 2017 after a long courageous battle of cancer. He was the son of the late Kenneth A. Brooker, Sr. and Beverly M. (Schults) Brooker. David is survived by his loving wife, Paula A. (Vavruick) Brooker and two daughters who were his world, Brittany L Suchy (Mike III) and Katie M. Brooker (Josh Huckle) and one grandson, Collin M. Suchy. He is survived by four brothers, Kenneth A. Brooker, Jr., Mike Brooker, John Brooker and Paul Brooker; four sisters, Judy Webber, Shirley Stevens, Brenda Porter and Jo Ann Kline. Besides his parents he is predeceased by two brothers Terry and Mark Brooker. David is a Gloversville High School Graduate and has worked in the automotive industry for 48 years for places such as HP Motors, Rose Buick, Larry's Auto Body and most recent Browns Ford of Johnstown as collision manager. Private cremation will take place May 24, 2017 at the Parkview Crematory, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home located at 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078 on May 26, 2017 from 3 to 7pm.
