Obituary of Stephan J. Bergman

Stephan J. Bergman, 76, of Amsterdam, N.Y., has passed away on Thursday, June 1st, 2017. Stephan was born on February 26th, 1941 in Queens County, N.Y. He moved to Liberty ARC's house on Van Dyke in 1986. Stephan was a maintenance apprentice and enjoyed helping the maintenance men with repairs. He loved to dress up and always look his best. He enjoyed venturing out into the community to shop and dine. His favorite dish was spaghetti and meatballs. Every year he looked forward to attending the Big E annual Fair in Massachusetts. He was very proud of the shark he caught while deep sea fishing. Stephan a very friendly and sociable person, he will be deeply missed. Stephan is survived by his close friends and Liberty ARC family. He is predeceased by his parents and one sister. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 7th, 2017 at 11 am at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, N.Y. Internment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery, 272 Upper Steadwell Avenue, Amsterdam, N.Y. A visitation will take place from 10am to 11am prior to the service at the funeral home.
