Obituary of Cynthia Smith

Cynthia Smith, 55, of Amsterdam, NY, journeyed into her new life on Monday, June 5th, 2017; leaving behind a host of loves ones. Born on February 27th 1962, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arlene Brown and Harry Smith. Cynthia attended local schools and was a woman of great faith. She was an extremely caring, wonderful, and strong woman who was very compassionate. She had a genuine empathy for anyone who was lucky enough to cross her path in life. She loved without bias and never turned her back on anyone. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 14th, 2017 at 11:30am at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:30am to 11:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Contribution in Cynthia's honor may be made to the family c/o the funeral home to assist the family with unexpected expenses incurred during this difficult time.
