Obituary of Thomas C. Nowicki

Thomas C. Nowicki, 69, of Hagaman, died peacefully after a short illness with his loving family by his side on Monday, June 12, 2017 Born on October 7, 1947 in Amsterdam, he was a son of the late Charles and Stephanie "Sally" (Mienatowski) Nowicki Calling hours to which family and friends are invited to attend will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Funeral Services with Holy Eucharist will be celebrated on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10 am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 42 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. William T. Hodgetts Jr. officiating followed by burial next to his late wife of 38 years, Neila (Morris) Nowicki who passed away May 23, 2017 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville NY with full military honors. Thomas is survived by 2 Sons, Charles O. (Cathy) Nowicki of Amsterdam NY and William T. (Tonia) Nowicki of Amsterdam NY. 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. A Niece Laurene Buckley, and a Nephew Lawrence Hawes. Also many Dear and Close friends. During his lifetime Thomas was a Salesman for Seimans in Niskayuna NY . he was in the Navy serving our country from 1965 to 1971 Wherehe also served on the USS Enterprise CVA (N) - 65, a member of the American Legion, a member of the PAV (Polish American Vets) Amsterdam NY. Past President of the Lions Club Galway NY. Thomas was also a Master Gardener, and Avid Outdoors Man. He also loved his pets Calley and Brandi.
