So sorry for your loss Mary Anne. I have so many nice memories of your mom tucked away for years. Visiting your house on Carmichael to get Al for some kind of trip or night out. Through that bond I have been forever linked with your family. It has been a long time, but the thoughts and memories never go away. You and Alex were lucky to have Mary as your mother and as history often shows, the love of a daughter is returned ten times over in the parents later years. She was lucky to have you. You were so lucky to have her. She was warm, caring and a loving mother. I still recall her telling myself and your brother to be careful every time we left your house. There wasn't a time when she didn't have some kind of food or baked item she wanted me to have when I set foot in her door. I am so sorry I missed her service; I was away on vacation. The best memories remain and I was there in spirit. Life goes on but sadly a gap remains that only time can heal. During this time, think of all the moments she gave you that made you happy!
