Our sincere condolences to Bill's children and their families. As first cousin, we are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Bill was a wonderful person and always a true gentleman in every regard. We cherish the memories of spending time with him at his Kingsboro Ave. home and his Canada Lake camp.

First, my condolences to your family. I worked with Bill at City National Bank for many years. I remember the day he was to start in the bank's note department; he called in sick. The officers of the bank sort of rolled their eyes, thinking "This is going to go well". But Bill proved to be the best worker they ever had--efficient, hard working and dedicated. I also remember when the annual raise time would come around, he would practically beg NOT to receive one--it would mess up his taxes because of his Navy pension. Bill also was a speaker at local historical meetings and dinners. He spoke a few times at the Johnstown Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Bill was one of the kindest men I ever met--always in a good mood and happy to see you.
Again, so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the family - especially Terry whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the Wilkinson Nursing Home. Bill was at the dinner table with my dad and
we struck up a nice little friendship along with three other family members.
Bill's presence will be missed. God Bless.
