I was doing some research of 3D Maintenance Battalion's logo and I came across Sgt Lemiszki's name as a contributor for Wikipedia. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Could someone help us piece this puzzle together. Was Sgt Lemiszki responsible for desinging the logo? What was his mos? Did he die during combat? Thank you for any information you can provide. I am a retired Marine Corps first sergeant and I was very intrigued by this Marine and would like to know a little more about him. Semper Fi!

I had the honor of working on Wikipedia with Sergeant Lemiszki for a little over three years, and was terribly saddened to learn of his death. It was with profound shock that I learned of Robert's tragic and untimely death. I knew him from Wikipedia where he was a fine and dedicated contributor.
It takes a very special person to become a marine sergeant and put themselves in harm's way for the sake of others. You must be proud of him.
