Obituary of Mary Anne Becker

Mary Anne Green Becker, 57, of York Street in Fultonville passed away on October 26, 2011 at Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville after a long illness, her loving family by her side. Born in Amsterdam on January 25, 1954 she was the daughter of the Walter Sr. and Mattie Green, both of Amsterdam. She was educated in the Amsterdam Schools. Mary was a home health aid for several years, she then worked at Faulk Industries where she retired due to her failing health. She was a former member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church. On March 9, 1972 she was married to Milton A. Becker. They shared a beautiful union of 39 years. She is also survived by her Daughters LaurieDavid, MissyChuck and PennyRick and sons, Milton and Danny; grand children, Sandy, Marky, Joshua, Zachary, Kaleb, Charles, David, Kaytie, Kaylee, Danny, Daniel, Michael, Tomas, Jordan, Dillian, Giavonna, and a great grandson Leon. She is also survived by her loving and caring sisters Lil Steve, Cora Scott, Emily Mel and Ruth who were there for her every step of the way throughout her illness. Her brothers John, Carl, Tony and Rob also survive along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Walter Sr. and Mattie Green she is also predeceased by oldest brother Walter, Jr. and her grandson Brandon as well as her best friends and mother and father in law, Kay and Archie Becker. A heartfelt thank you to the Nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital ICU and 4th floor as well as Mountain Valley Hospice, and Dr. Goslin's office. A funeral service for Mary will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam NY 12010. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers.
