Obituary of Evon Abraham

Mrs. Evon Abraham, daughter of George & Malvena Alexander, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Naif Abraham, who passed on January 13, 1996 and her daughter-in-law Karen Abraham on October 1, 2014 and her siblings Elaine, Evelyn, Edward and Edmond. She is survived by her children Naif Jr. (Mary), Eddy and Cheryl; her grandchildren Eddy Jr; Adrian, Naif III and Jenny; her great-grandchildren Kyleigh, Quentin, and Nolan. A private service will be held at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home for her family members only. Interment will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Evon was born and raised in Columbia South Carolina. This is where she met her husband as he was stationed there before his military service in Europe during WWII. Evon was a homemaker who also helped her husband run Naif's family owed convenience store. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave; Gloversville, NY 12078.
