To The Barksdale Family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was a kind and gentle man. He always greeted you with such a wonderful smile. It was always such a joy to listen to him sing in the choir. You could see how much he enjoyed singing and he has a strong voice. May you find peace and comfort in God's tender loving care. God has another warrior in His heavenly army. My heart and prayers are with you. God bless you all. Patricia Hall-Murray

The Barksdale Family has lost an earthly treasure but we know we should meet him in glory one day soon. My earliest memories are of my Uncle Hal and Uncle Cal on that big farm in South Carolina as they drove horse drawn wagons and tended to the farm animals. They were so full of life. Uncle Hal would lighten every family reunion with his mellow voice with that southern sound. We enjoyed his stories and accounts of so many events in our family. He will be so missed. God blessed us with 81 years. To my family, God bless you and help you to hold on to those wonderful memories. Joyce Lawler of Worthington Ohio, daughter of Zenobia Woodard.
