Richard L. Bornt age 92 yrs. of Gloversville NY died 9/27/17 at Albany Medical Center, Albany NY. Richard was born 06/18/1925 in Gloversville NY and is the son of the late Arthur and Sadie (Billington) Bornt. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam NY 12010. Wednesday 10/04/17 from 11 am to 1 pm with a 1 pm service to follow here at the funeral home with Pastor Dwight Moore from the Clifton Park Assembly of God with a burial to follow in the family with military honors next to his late wife Evelyn M. (Youngs) Bornt who died in June, 14 2012. Richard is survived by his daughter Evelyn Coates of Gloversville, and a brother John Bornt of Gloversville, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. During his lifetime Richard was drafted for the army during WW II where he proudly served his country. He also owned and operated Bornt Waste & Metal Inc. in Gloversville until his retirement. Richard was also a lover of lotto scratchoff tickets, and an avid Hunter.
