Obituary of Edna M. Webster

Mrs. Edna M. Webster, 96, of Broadalbin, NY died peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017. Born in Amsterdam, NY on January 17, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Isabelle Nurnberg. A lifelong area resident, Edna along with her husband William owned and operated Webster's Vacuum Cleaner Service in Broadalbin for many years. She was a former member of the Sacandaga Boat Club and was a homemaker. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband William; daughter Sandra Maye; granddaughter, Tina Singh; and her great granddaughter, Dana McGuire. Survivors include her son, Wayne Gottobed; grandchildren, Deborah Gottobed, Kris Larsen, Mareike Larsen, Wayne Gottobed, Alieca Helferich, Robert Maye; twelve great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Edna will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1p.m. at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main Street, Broadalbin, NY. Burial will follow in the Broadalbin Cemetery.
