Obituary of Rosemary Constantine

Miss Rosemary Constantine, 70, of Wesleyan Avenue, Amsterdam died suddenly on Friday, September 29, 2017. Born in Amsterdam on October 25, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Esther Bianchi Constantine. Rosemary was a graduate of St. Mary's Institute class of 1964, Mildred Elly and Maria College. She then moved to Boston for over 20 years. In the mid 1990's she returned to Amsterdam and was employed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) retiring from St. Mary's Healthcare in 2012. Rosemary loved to golf, going to the casino and gathering with friends and family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law, Carol Constantine. Survivors include her brother, Charles Constantine; her god children, James Constantine and Christina Constantine; her best friend, Patricia Allen; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, October 5, 2017at 9:15a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam, NY with the Rev. Lawrence Decker as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 4 until 7p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
