Obituary of Alan T. Coviello

Mr. Alan T. Coviello, 78, of Amsterdam, passed away peacefully from this world on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. He was born in Albany, NY on February 4, 1939, a son of the late Lewis and Adeline Dillworth Coviello. He grew up in the Albany area and attended schools there. Alan proudly served his country in the US Army from 1955 to 1958. He was employed by General Electric in Schenectady for over 30 years a steam turbine inspector. He was predeceased by his dear friend and companion Agnes Donnelly who passed away in February of this year. He was of the Roman Catholic Faith. He is survived by many dear friends who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, with Father Jeffrey M. L'Arche, M.S. officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in Fairview Cemetery Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday prior to the funeral service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Montgomery County SPCA or to the animal shelter of your choice.
