Obituary of Betty J. Olson

Ms. Betty J. Olson, age 82, died peacefully at her home on October 8, 2017. She was born November 12, 1934 in the town of Day, the daughter of George and Ethel Jenkins Bovee. Betty was a graduate of Northville Central School. She was employed as a Real Estate Broker and worked many years at Illustrated Properties in Mayfield, NY. She later joined Coldwell Banker A.M.S. in Johnstown, NY and retired in 2014. Betty is survived by a son, John C. Olson; a brother, Daniel Bovee of Edinburg; and a sister, Julia Wadsworth of Northville. Cremation took place at Parkview Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Northville Public Library.
