Obituary of Cecilia Naish Perham

Mrs. Cecilia Naish Perham, age 92, formerly of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 20, 2017 at Palatine Nursing Home, Palatine Bridge. She was born June 8, 1925 in Gloversville, the daughter of Howard and Catherine Naish. She was later employed by Coleco Industries of Gloversville. In April of this year, Cecilia was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Sanford C. "Ike" Perham, Jr. She was also predeceased by a son, Clifford Perham and by five sisters, Charlotte Lawton, Phyllis Hitchcock, Naomi Smith, Jessie Galligan and Marion Keller. Cecilia is survived by a daughter, Charlotte S. Conyne of Mayfield; a son, Charles Perham (Loretta) of Tupper Lake; a brother, Howard Naish, Jr; a daughter-in-law, Jean Perham of Ephratah; seven grandchildren, John Kucipak (Laura), Melissa Perham, Danielle Sitz (Matt), William Conyne, James Conyne (Merlinda), Kelly Hendershot (Rich) and Corey Perham (Nick); four great-grandchildren, Christopher Kupicak, Madelynn Sitz, Lilianna Cooper and Sharon Hendershot. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will take place 3:00pm Sunday, October 29 in Section 15 at Ferndale Cemetery, 545 N. Perry St; Johnstown, with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating. There will be no calling hours. A reception will be held following teh graveside service at the Concordia Club, W. Fulton St; Gloversville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
