Obituary of Reynold Rick Erickson

Reynold W. "Rick" Erickson, Jr; age 63, of Caroga Lake, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at St. Johnsville Rehab & Nursing Center, St. Johnsville, following a "Life Well Lived". He was born March 2, 1954 in Albany, the son of Reynold and Edith Gione Erickson. He lived most of his life in the Schenectady area and was employed as a security guard by U.S. Securities. He was always the funny, crazy guy that everyone loved. He was the life of the party and was always trying to make everyone laugh. Rick is survived by his significant other, Angelique "Angie" Smith of Caroga Lake; a son, James Erickson of Albany; a brother, Rolf Erickson of Schenectady; a stepdaughter, Sarah Carpenter of Caroga Lake and a niece, Jessica Erickson of Schenectady. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
