Obituary of Susan M. Fowler

Mrs. Susan "Susie" M. Fowler, 47, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2017 in Wilmington, NC following a brief illness. Born on November 30, 1969 in Amsterdam, New York she was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Gray Niemczyk. Susie attended local schools and was a 1987 graduate of Amsterdam High School. On June 19, 1993 she was united in marriage to Scott Fowler. That union was blessed with two beautiful children, Spencer (12) and Megan (10). A beautiful soul, inside and out, Susie loved to laugh and had a unique way of making every moment special. She loved spending time with her children, doing arts and crafts, playing games and spending time in the Adirondack Mountains. Susie made every holiday special for her children and anyone who was around. She loved her children with all of heart, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Scott; children, Spencer and Megan; her parents Michael and Maggie Niemczyk; her sisters, Lori Tambasco and her husband Christopher and Betsy Devillier and her wife Rebecca; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
