Obituary of David McMurdo

David McMurdo, 60, of Van Dyke Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, has gone to his eternal rest on Monday, November 13th, 2017. Born on January 30th, 1957, he was the son of the late Janet McMurdo. David graduated from the Kaplan School Class of 1978. He joined Liberty ARC in 1994. David was a very sociable person with a big personality. He enjoyed being the center of attention and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was very friendly and a true gentleman. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. David had a contagious smile that could light up a room. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan and anyone who knew him knew he had an intense dislike for "The Boston Red Sox" He will be deeply missed by his close friends and housemates. David is survived by his brother Andrew McMurdo; his four sisters, and his close friends and housemates at Liberty ARC. A Memorial Service for David will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at 11am at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
