Obituary of Patrick Michael Nagle
Patrick Michael Nagle, 34, of Galway, NY, passed away after a brief illness with his loving family by his side on November 14, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.
Born November 11, 1983 at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady, NY, he is the son of Daniel F. and Christine M. (Palilunas) Nagle of Galway, NY.
Patrick was a graduate of Galway Central School in 2002, where he played varsity soccer and ran track. He went on to graduate Cum Laude from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, at Syracuse University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. After graduation, he pursued a career as an Environmental designer/Planner with CLA Site Landscape Architecture, Saratoga Springs, NY, Ben Dyer Associates, Inc., Mitchellville Maryland, and Redbud Development Inc., Wilton, NY. He was accredited by the American Society of Landscape Architects.
Pat enjoyed hiking with his dog Winston, Rock climbing. He loved his music, artwork, and Jazz/Rock drumming. Patrick embraced all the love, compassion, and dedication that made life better for everyone around him. He had a zest for life and a passion to dream, explore, discover, and learn. His smile and infectious wit always brightened one's day. He will be missed.
Patrick was predeceased by his grandparents Bennie and Isabelle Palilunas, Robert and Barbara Nagle, and his Uncle Joseph Nagle.
Besides his parents, Patrick is survived by his sister Sarah (Steven) Slosek, Two nephews Wyatt and Graham Slosek, Four aunts Cindy (Phillip) Richards, Kati (Malcolm) Squires, Mary (Mike) Bilka, and Pam Nagle. He is also survived by his dog Winston and many cousins.
Relatives and Friends are invited to call Monday November 20, 2017 from 4 to 7 PM at the Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Stephen's Church 51 N Pawling St. Hagaman, NY 12086 with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis the celebrant. Burial in the family plot to follow the mass at St. Stephen's Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff of D3E-MICU at Albany Medical Center for their dedicated care, compassion, and empathy on Patrick's behalf.
Memorial donations may be made in Patrick's name to Galway Meals on Wheels c/o, Office of the Aging Saratoga County, 152 West High St. Ballston Spa, NY 12020, or to a charity of one's choice.
