Obituary of Clark Nelson Bush

Clark Nelson Bush, age 63, of Gloversville, died December 17, 2017 at his home. He was born October 22, 1954 in Gloversville, the son of Donald and Iris (Brockhum) Bush. He was raised by his mother and his stepfather, Nelson Poyfair. Clark served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was later employed as a tanner by Lee Dye for many years. He also worked for several years at Cherry Valley Memorials. He was married on July 4, 1989 to Suzanne Marie Loux Bush who died on September 29, 1998. Clark is survived by his companion, Donna Phelps of Gloversville; three children, Henry Bush (Maria) and Frederick Nelson Bush, both of Gloversville and Kim Benfi (Joe) of Virginia Beach, VA; two step-daughters, Marilyn Warner of Florida and Christina Warner of Gloversville; a half-sister, Lisa Bush of Clifton Park; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10am to 12pm Friday, December 22, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12pm with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
