Obituary of Gregory P. Gawron

Gregory P. Gawron age 69 yrs. of Amsterdam passed away December 18, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with his family by his side after a battle with cancer. He was born August 23, 1948 in Amsterdam, and is the son of the late Chester and Elizabeth (Valiente) Gawron. He is survived by his wife Sigrid Reiser Gawron of Halfmoon, two daughters Carrie-Ann (Chris) Bottisti of Amsterdam, and Kimberly Marie Gawron of Latham. One son Konner Bradwell of Halfmoon. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren whom he was so proud of Carissa, Courtney, and Christian. During his lifetime he was employed by the NYS Thruway Authority in Albany for 38 years. After his retirement he was the Manager at Just Country for his beloved brother-in-law Clutch. He loved to teach line dancing which was his passion for years. He was also known as "Kenny Rogers", and he loved country music. He will be missed by all for his sense of humor.
