Obituary of Mary M. Beck

Mrs. Mary M. Beck, age 80, of Gloversville, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at River Ridge Living Center, Amsterdam. She was born August 12, 1937 in Johnstown, the daughter of John and Margaret (Frye) Davis. She worked at the Fulton County Infirmary as a certified health aid. Mary is survived by a son, Dayton C. Beck Jr. of Palatine Bridge; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Dayton C. "John" Beck, Sr. two sons, William A. Beck and Raymond E. Beck; and a daughter, Robin R. (Smith) Boyer. Private visitation and services will take place at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Mayfield Union Rural Cemetery.
